DR. STACEY NEDRUD

Dr. Stacey Nedrud is a nationally recognized, fellowship-trained and board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame and the University of Florida in Gainesville. She then completed her dental degree (DMD) at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville. She entered an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville. She completed her medical degree (MD) with the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, a general surgery internship with the University of Florida in Jacksonville, and then completed her residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2020 at the University of Florida, Jacksonville.

 

She pursued a competitive fellowship specializing in head and neck oncology and microvascular surgery with Dr. Rui Fernandes at the University of Florida, Jacksonville, completed in 2021. She worked as an assistant professor at the University of Florida as a Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction Surgeon, prior to joining our team at First Coast Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.

She brings her skills in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, implants, bone grafts, orthognathic surgery, nerve repair, pathology, oral and facial reconstruction, and maxillofacial trauma surgery, among other surgical procedures. She has published numerous articles and book chapters on maxillofacial surgery. In addition to her publications, she has spoken at national and international conferences, and has taught hands-on courses for reconstructive surgery of complex defects of the head and neck region.

Dr. Nedrud is known for her compassion and care for her patients. She is dedicated to restoring the best quality of life possible for patients and to support them emotionally through the process. She frequently travels to developing countries and underserved regions of the world to provide surgical care to those in need.

In her free time, Dr. Nedrud enjoys spending time with her husband Eric. They met in 2006 through competitive swimming, and they continue to enjoy swimming together! Dr. Nedrud cherishes family time and travel to broaden her horizons. Born in France, she is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and is currently learning Italian.
